Deborah, you "nailed it." Writing about love is our "job," but writing about old love and new love is not the same. I love to see couples who have been together for a lifetime still showing affection toward each other. When an author can capture that in her story, she understands how love has evolved in that couple's life. Thanks for a neat blog entry today.
Thank you! I keep thinking about writing about a "more mature" relationship, but wonder if I could sell it. We "mature" folks read romances, but I'm not sure if the editors would see that there's a market for a book about us.
