Sweet Romance

We hope you enjoy reading more novels by the authors you've come to know and trust!

Susan Aylworth
Please welcome our newest addition to the C&C Blog Team: Susan Aylworth. Susan started her first book when she was nine. "It was called Buff, The Proud Stallion. I wrote eight whole pages." For her fifth grade career day, she stated her ambition to become "a rich and famous author." Decades later, she is pleased to have achieved the 'author' part of that goal. A former university professor, she enjoys researching backgrounds and careers for her novels. "It's one way to live many lives at once."

Servant to two spoiled cats, she lives in northern California with her husband of 44 years, also a writer. She loves hanging out with her seven children, their perfect-for-them spouses and 23 grandchildren. When she can't be with her blood family, she hangs with her fictional characters, the children of her mind. She has thirteen novels available and a 14th coming this spring. Susan loves words “in all polite forms” and has also published poetry and a one-woman play. She loves to hear from readers. Contact her @SusanAylworth or atwww.susanaylworth.com, or susan.aylworth.author@gmail.com. For more information about Susan and her books, visit her website http://www.susanaylworth.com/ You can also follow her on Twitter @SusanAylworth,  or on Pinterest and Instagram as Susan Aylworth.

Sofie Couch
Sofie Couch writes sweet romance with just enough piss and vinegar to (hopefully), make you spew your coffee and test your bladder control. From her home in Central Virginia, she writes in and around raising a “pa’r-a-normal young adults”, wrangling chickens amidst nightly coyote raids, and living a romantic comedy with her sweetie-pie of twenty years. She studied Rhetoric at the University of Virginia to obtain a B.A. in b.s. and fiction is what she continues to crank out with the help of her writing muses – a dog that thinks she’s a cat, a cat that thinks she’s the alpha dog, and 1,000 (fictitious) Typing Monkeys, (which also just happens to be the name of her blog). You can follow the high-jinks of Sofie and her menagerie at http://www.sofiecouch.blogspot.com .

Jean C. Gordon
Jean C. Gordon’s writing is a natural extension of her love of reading. From that day in first grade when she realized t-h-e was the word “the,” she’s been reading everything she can put her hands on. A professional financial planner and editor for a financial publisher, Jean is as at home writing retirement- and investment-planning advice as she is writing romance novels, but finds novels a lot more fun.
She and her college-sweetheart husband tried the city life in Los Angeles, but quickly returned home to their native Upstate New York. They share a 170-year-old farmhouse just south of Albany, NY, with their daughter and son-in-law, two grandchildren, and a menagerie of pets. Their son lives nearby. While Jean creates stories, her family grows organic fruits and vegetables and tends the livestock de jour.

Although her day job, writing and family don’t leave her a lot of spare time, Jean likes to give back when she can. She and her husband team-taught a seventh-and-eighth-grade Sunday school class for several years and currently serve on her church’s Evangelism Committee. She also shares her love of books with others by volunteering at the church’s Book Nook.

You can keep in touch with her at www.Facebook.com/JeanCGordon.Author, www.JeanCGordon.com,  @JeanCGordon or  PO Box 113, Selkirk, NY 12158.

Leigh Verrill-Rhys began story-telling as soon as she could talk. That developed quickly into writing as soon as she learned to read. Her first efforts were short stories published in literary magazines such as San Francisco Stories and Gramercy Review
A Creative Writing course and teaching at a university did not stifle her basic wish to write about the human spirit and its many triumphs, including love. Leigh's first sweet romance, Wait a Lonely Lifetime, was published in 2012 as a library edition by Avalon Books and was soon in digital and paperback format with Montlake.
Leigh has continued to write sweet and semi-sweet romances, her latest being Nights Before: The Novel, in the tradition of Charles Dickens - six digital installments that became a print edition in 2015.
Currently, she is working on an historical novel set in Post Civil War New England, Pavane for Miss Marcher.
Connect with Leigh on Twitter, Facebook, and Amazon. Her website is LeighVerrillRhys.com. Under her pen name, Lily Dewaruile, she also writes Medieval Welsh Romance.
